| Hi all We have a problem with xp_mail We have 2 SQL servers (one new installed) with the same databases and more or less the same configuration ( should be ) , they both use the same exchange server for sending mailsif we are running following query on the new server EXEC master..xp_sendmail @recipients = 'jos@cilissen.be', @echo_error = 'TRUE', @query = 'SELECT * from POI', @subject = 'BT Test ' GOThis works so SQL mail is right configuredbut if we add an attachement it doesn't work EXEC master..xp_sendmail @recipients = 'jos@cilissen.be', @echo_error = 'TRUE', @query = 'SELECT * from POI', @subject = 'BT Test ', @attachments = 'Test.csv', @separator =';', @attach_results = 'TRUE', @width = 4000GOThen we got this error Server: Msg 18025, Level 16, State 1, Line 0xp_sendmail: failed with mail error 0x80004005on the old server this works Can somebody help us out Thanks Jos cilissen |

| Does your operator user, and your SQL Server Service Account Have File Permissions on Disk where the attachment is? Look up your error messages on BOL, if I am not mistaken, that error is the security range of error, and will show up in your Windows Event Viewer, as an application error. |
