| Hi,After removing a named instance, the two services remain-mssqlserver and the agent.What is the way to delete the to services not associated with an instance?Thx,Dobby |

| Un-install SQL Server with Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel.FYI: They are associated with an instance. They are assoiciated with the Default instance. So if you get rid of them, you are getting rid of SQL Server on that machine.CODO ERGO SUM |

| The services are for the named instance, that is not longer present.After uninstalallation of the named instance the services associated left, and now there are 4 services- 2 for the default instance and 2 for the named uninstalled instance.Do I have to uninstall the server to get rid of the old services or there is other way?Thx,Dobby |
