Michele writes "I need to run a query in SQL then attach the results into a text file (using the Scripting.FileSystemObject code) that can be designated as fixed width, and then email the text file. I am able to do this by creating a delimited text file and emailing it, but instead, I need the file to contain fixed fields. Thanks!" |

If you're using the file system object I think you could do it if you converted each of your resulting columns into character fields using char()Mike"oh, that monkey is going to pay" |
