| Here is the scenerio Sql2000std sp4.Third party application, inherited. They open a transaction that creates a lock on the sys... tables in tempdb. Which obviously causes issues for me trying to monitor the db. Is there a setting to say max transaction time is? Or any other way to defeat this issue? Don't really care if I break the app. I will be doing this in dev, so it doesn't matter. |
