We received the error on Enterprise SQL 7.0 during which it locked up all application processes and then cleared up on its own after 30 minutes. Here are the errors logged to server log: -"Time out occurred while waiting for buffer latch type 1, bp 0x12df5980, page (1:1695741), stat 0x9, object ID 7:510624862:2, waittime 500. Continuing to wait." -"Error: 845, Severity: 17, State: 1" -"Time out occurred while waiting for buffer latch type 1 for page (1:1695741), database ID 7, object ID 510624862, index ID 2.."

I looked up SQL 7.0's BOL and it said to ignore the error. Microsoft KB said this error only applied to Server 2000 with AWE enabled which we don't have.

We have NT 4.0 set up to with /3GB in the .ini file so SQL will have 3GB out of the 4GB on board. We run heavy Transactional application on the server.

Any helps would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
