Hi,I read an article about embedding MSDE into installation package at http://www.gotdotnet.com but it says "install SQL Server in MSDE mode". What does that mean, how can I install it in MSDE mode? I need merge modules be installed.. |

MSDE is a separate edition of sql server. It probably means install that.Look at the editions on the ms site.==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.DTS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |

OK, the setup build gave an error of "unable to find dependencies: SQLBASE.msm." and I thought I've done something wrong. No, the problem is not in myself. It's about the merge module SQLBASE.msm. When I check it in VS to know which DLLs it contains, I saw nothing. It contains no DLL. Could someone explain it to me?Or if you know which DLLs it contains, could you write them? |
