HII'm trying to connect to Msde with enterprise manager on another computer.I have changed the LoginMode in the registry as instructed in a microsoft walk through and yet it's still not letting me log in.Any other reason. except the obvious wrong passwordthanksapb |

dumb question but msde didnt/doesnt have a network configuration setup (at least it didnt when I installed)have you tried:1. Properties for the msde sql server2. click on Network Configuration button3. enable a connection protocol (ie add tcp/ip or named pipes to the Enabled Protocol set) |

Normally MSDE does not allow TCP/IP connections after installation. This can be overridden with some command line settings or specifying it the setup's INI file.You can enable this by running the SVRNETCN.exe and enabling TCP/IP.
