| emil writes "Hello:Is there a way to send an smtp message in a stored procedure without using SQL Mail. We used to use XPSMTP by sqldev.net but we are not sure if it is supported on our windows 2003 server with SQL 2000 sp3. Are there any other solutions out there? Please advise and your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks,Emil" |

| Did you try running it on that box? Don't assume it won't work until you try it. I know xp_SMTP is not the only utility of its type out there, but it's one of the better ones. |
