We are migrating to new servers and I need to change my pivot table (EXCEL 2002) report to reference the new servers. How can I do this?

Thanks, Dave

Right click on the pivot and launch the pivotchart wizard.
Select 'back' and then 'get data'. It will connect to your current data source and bring up MS Query. Once loaded go to file, table definition. Select <New Data Source> then 'OK'. This brings up the create new data source dialogue box. Once done select 'ok'. Then ok, close and save it. Be sure to click on 'finish' once back @ the pivotchart wizard.

Someone else suggested the same thing in another forum, however the BACK button is grayed out when I open the wizard. I'm using Excel 2002 SP2 if that makes any difference.

Thanks, Dave

If you remove or rename the old data source Excel will allow you to select a new one when you attempt to refresh it as the refresh will fail.

Unfortunately I cannot see the old data sources. They do not appear in any DSNY lists. I eventually rebuilt the pivot tables.

Thanks, Dave
