| how can we check how many days older data we r keeping in our databse.since i am an new DBA , i don't know how to check that.Thanks in advance |

check if your table which holds the "data" has a datetime fieldthen you can query the minimum datetimeyou can also start reading BOL, it'll help you get through with the basics of DBA work and stick around sqlteam to learn more advanced stuff and techniques  --------------------keeping it simple... |
