what do you mean?

Sean Roussy

Please backup all of your databases including master, msdb and model on a regular basis. I am tired of telling people they are screwed. The job you save may be your own.

I am available for consulting work. Just email me though the forum.

I use carbon testing. Our users get a little pissy about that though.

check if your table which holds the "data" has a datetime field

then you can query the minimum datetime

you can also start reading BOL, it'll help you get through with the basics of DBA work and stick around sqlteam to learn more advanced stuff and techniques
