| Penny writes "HiI am running SQL Server 200 (up to SP3) on Windows XP. Have recently run windows update to be current.I can't look at data in tables using enterprise manager (query designer?) Enterprise manager, choose database, select 'Tables', right click on a table and select 'return all rows' just gives me a screen of the gridlines but with no column headings and no data. No error message either. It's as if it hasnt run the necessary SQL.I can see the data in SQL Query Analyzer. This may or may not be relevant, but I was not aware of the problem until I received a Trojan Agent Em virus. I have cleaned/deleted infected files to no avail.I have also tried reinstalling SQL.Thanks in advancePenny" |

| Sweet. You shouldn't need to do this, but try installing the latest MDAC and see if that fixes it. I would reinstall the OS if I were you. That's a lot of work though.MeanOldDBAderrickleggett@hotmail.comWhen life gives you a lemon, fire the DBA. |
