Hi guys

In Sql Server 2000, I can't take bakeup because it says log file is full. Log file nearly 5GB. So i tried to detach the database. But automatically got shutting down. If i switch on the system , after entering into windows it shows the error

KERNAL STOP INPAGE ERROR.

DUMPING PHYSICAL MEMORY 1 .. 100 THEN RESTARTED.

Please any one can help to sove this issue..

BACKUP LOG DBNameGoesHere WITH NO_LOG

Then change your recovery model to SIMPLE as it doesn't appear you are performing regular tlog backups. Do you require point in time recovery?
