Mike writes "I just spent the last two days doing an upgrade of one of our SQL Server 2000 SP 4 running on an old server hardware to a new HP server using Windows 2003 SP1. Ran into some problems with SQLXML not working but found a fix to that, I also have a small thing with Analysis Service Cubes not connecting, but this is minor for now. All of our .NET web apps seems to be running fine, however our legacy web ASP app using COM++ components (MTS) seems to either hang or lock SQL. Did some debugging and found that table updates (ADD/Change/Deletes) is causing this symptom. Does anyone have any clues, I'm sort of running out of my scheduled downtime.

Would appreciate any help.

Thanks!"

Since this is SP4, I'd suggest contacting MS directly about this.
