| Hi all, Is it possible to build a local cube file (*.cub) from Analysis Services cubes by running the create local cube MDX statement in an openquery to the linked server linking to the Analysis Services cube? I am thinking if I can use a stored procedure to build a local cube instead of using the ADO MD object library or using Excel ...Thanks,delpiero |

| Actually if I run a statement in Query Analyer like:select * from openquery(<Linked Server Name>, ' <MDX Create Cube statement>')The cube is actually created, but at the same time there is an error returned: OLE DB provider 'MSOLAP' reported an error. Command was not prepared.OLE DB error trace [OLE/DB Provider 'MSOLAP' IColumnsInfo::GetColumnsInfo returned 0x80040e4a: Command was not prepared.].What is the correct way to do this in Query Analyzer?
