| I tried to configure sqlmail for sending mail alert to me. I'm using outlook express 6 in which I've configured to get the all mails. when i set the profile in sqlmail through EM, I got following error. "Error 18030: xp_test_mapi_profile : Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the message requiest. | "is there any other way to configure the MAPI in outlook express"The best I can do is to repeat my previous answer, I'm afraid "I don't think Outlook EXPRESS has suffient "MAPI" stuff to qualify" - sorry I can't do better.And, yes, its a rubbish solution - pollute your nice clean SQL server with a bloated and unstable application which is the target of many virus attacks.Because of this we won't run SQL Mail on ANY of our servers - which is a major disadvantage in terms of getting Notifications etc.Kristen |
