Hi allUsing SQL 2000 MSDE I'm bulk inserting about 3.200.000 records into a tableunfortunately all memory dissapears and never returns the dirty buffers count goes up to 48000 approx.any ideas on how to rectify this ..... ? |

If you run the CHECKPOINT command, followed by DBCC DROPCLEANBUFFERS, that should flush everything to disk and recover that buffer space. However, SQL Server/MSDE will still keep the memory allocated until you restart the service. |
