| Hi there,What's the best way/tool to migrate an Access 2000(size 500MB, over 100 tables) Database to SQL Server 7, keeping all relationships, indexes, views, and all. Thanks a lot in advance! |

| There is a built-in Upsize to SQL Server Wizard under the Tools menu in Access 2000 and later. It's dirt simple to use and understand and does an admirable job of moving everything to SQL Server. Make sure you look at each option carefully as you progress through the wizard. Also, at some point you'll be asked if you want to have the referential integrity done via DRI or triggers, you should specify DRI (or whatever term they use), NOT triggers.Keep in mind that forms, reports, macros and modules will not be upsized, as they have no corollary in SQL Server. |
