Hi there.

Im hoping that I can get a little bit of help with the problems Im experiencing from this forum. So far, its never let me down before.

Heres the skinny:
A web/SQL server that my company maintains has recently had a new hardrive placed in it and for some unfathomable reason the hosting company did not mirror the old drive so we have had to manually reconfigure everything and reupload all our data.

After reattaching the old databse (I dont know if that fact is significant or not) I set up a user in the enterprise manager. NO problems. But when I try to connect as that user, specifying the username and password in the command string, I get the following error: Not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection. I cannot connect to it from any ASP pages, nor can I create a DSN or connect with the query analyzer using that username and password. I am still able to connect via NT User Authentication, but that is not an option as we need to maintain the ability to connect to the database remotely from our office's which are on different networks. I've checked the MS Knowledge Base, but nothing popped up that seemed to apply to our situation, or if it did, I was too dense to recognize it.

TIA for any assistance that can be offered.
