| Sriram writes "I've got SQL Server 7.0(SP 2) running on Windows NT 4.0(SP 5). There are 5 databases running on SQL and a backup of all these databases is scheduled to run automatically after office hours. The backup does happen, but when I try to restore a database thro Enterprise Manager and choose the option "From Device" and click on "View Contents", the backups in the tape are listed without a backup set name. However, when I take a manual backup by choosing the option "Backup Database", the backup set names are listed perfectly. I think the problem must be in the way I set up the Maintenance Plan for automatic backup. Could u help me?" |
