| I am trying to install analysis services, but it dies halfway through. no error messages, just stops at 47% when copying files over.It appears in Add/remove programs, but when i try to remove to attempt a reinstall, i get this error "'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Analysis Services\uninst.isu' is not valid or the data is corrupted. Uninstallation will not continue."Why is this happening, and how can I install Analysis Services?Thank you in advance,Molly |

| update: after trying to stop services while running the install (with no luck) i restarted all the services (including IIS, SQL, terminal services, antivirus) then ran the install again, and it worked.so the solution was apparently to restart one, or all of those services, then retry the install. |
