Hi,we are running a callcenter in india.we need to import data tables (with data) from sybase to sql server on daily basis.i have made a package in sql import/export wizard and using system DSN (for importing from sybase), i can import my data.when ever i right click the package and click execute package, the data is imported successfully.but when i schedule the same package, i get the error. on right clicking and viewing the job history, it shows that dsn name not found.Pls help me in scheduling the package.Munish Gupta |

When you right-click and execute, it will run on your machine. When you schedule the package, it runs on the server. In this instance, the DSN you've created will not be accessible as it presumably exists on your workstation's hard disk.Mark |
