| hi!I transfered my one database from one server to another server.now i wanna to transfer logins on that DB to another machine (server)..we have server 2000 (both)...i used for this DTS Logins Transfer Task..now my question is we have windows as well as sql server authentication....when i opend task that is asking me for source i selected my local server that time it gives me error that your SQL Server Service is running under the local system account.you need to change your SQL Server service account to have the rights to copy files over the network.so shall i change the account to option [This Account] in SERVICES ..n if i do that then will that affect other settings?????or for time being i will change???Any help in that will be valued....T.I.AShashank |

| As long as it has administrato9r rights on the local machine and access to the networked servers drives, then this will be fine.. |
