| Hi BertramI think the question here is "why would you want to do this ?"If you already have a SQL Server on that machine, why not just put your data on that ?Damian |

| My Germnan's a little rusty, but it could be that MSDE won't allow you to do named instances (I'm not sure), which is the only way you can have 7.0 and 2000 (any flavor) running on the same machine. |
