I need some help, 1 month ago when I shut down SQL Server in the error log y found this error.

LogEvent: Failed to report the current event; operating system error = 31(A device attached to the system is not functioning.)

What does this means

not a great deal unless you can provide a bit more info on it.

Do all your attached devices work ?

Maybe A device attached to the system is not functioning.
