| Can somebody tell me something more about physical pages organization and reorganization, may be garbade collection, and what sql server work in back ground.Or tell me where I can find somethig more about that.Thanks |

| You might try and find a backoffice resource kit book on SQL Server. It's about the most in-depth book on the inner workings of SQL Server that I've seen. I haven't seen a new one recently, but I'm sure microsoft press can help you.JamesH. |
