I have followed the documentation provided in Microsoft site and i could configure everything properly. I have exchangeserver installed in the network and sqlserver7.0 installed on another machine. I also installed Mapi client on sqlserver machine and configured profile and tested the same in sqlserver and it is working fine. I followed the steps given and succeed in each and every step and there was no error anywhere. after this in sqlquery analyser i used xp_sendmail extended stored procedure for sending mail to my account. the problem is that the execution process never ends and i have not received any mail form this process. SQlserver and exchange server are in the same domain I need help on this as i have to implement this before this weekend thanks in advance jagan jaganmohan thota
