Hello everyone,

I have exported data from few tables from my old sql server 7.0 database. Now, I need to import those data into new database which is on SQL Server 2005 Express. How do I do that in 2005 express server? Any idea?

Or, is there any better way to import data for selected tables into new database?

Thanks,
Ujjaval

This is the Toolkit link.
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=65111
Install it first.
Download SQLServer2005_DTS.msi From http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=d09c1d60-a13c-4479-9b91-9e8b9d835cdc&displaylang=en#filelist

I installed the DTS first and I could not find it. I then installed the toolkit and then DTS. Now I can do import/export with a GUI. You have to look for the DTSWizard.exe and run separately or add to Express's Tools.
