| Why you need this? I think it hardly matters how much is the CPU utilization because most of the queries can be made faster by tuning their I/O hits (Most of the time of query execution is spent in waiting for IO, and not in CPU processing).Harsh AthalyeIndia."The IMPOSSIBLE is often UNTRIED" |

| Those are very small numbers, so you should not worry about them. To get a baseline of your system, you would need to collect the data over several days making sure to capture peak times. Then do some aggregations against the data. IOW, there is no way for us to tell you what your baseline is. Everyone's baseline is different.And I disagree with Harsh in that yes it does matter. I look at CPU, IO, memory, ... when doing performance analysis. You shouldn't only concentrate on IO, although IO is a huge part.Tara Kizer |
