Gurus
I have a table with adminpwd as column and data type for this is varchar. Now i want to encrypt and decrypt it.and i have my first column as id (pk) with identity on.

My first question is
1)Will it work with identity on?
2)DO i have to change the data type to varbinary?

Please help

Why would you like to encrypt the identity value?
Have you thought of primary/foreign keys?
