I have just installed SQL 2005 Express and Query Express.
How do I find out the name of the server so that I can connect Query Express to SQL 2005 Express?

In SSMS login box, in the Server Name click on the Browse for Names option and you will see all the Server which you connect to..

If you followed the default install, your server name will be <machine name>\SQLEXPRESS.
