| Currently, we haven't upgraded to 2005 yet, but there is talk that we will be doingthis soon. I have developed a lot DTS jobs in our current environment, will those run straight out of the box on 2005 or do need to start learning new stuff?Thanks!V/RStve Wolfe |

| There are two options available to you:1. Leave current DTS packages as it is along side SQL server 2005 Integration Services. Over a period of time, you will need to upgrade those to SSIS2. Use SQL Server 2005 Upgrade Advisor to migrate your existing DTS packages to SSIS. SSIS tries to find the closest alternative to your DTS tasks. Most of the tasks should migrate easily, but some may need manual intervention to fix them.Choice is yours!Harsh AthalyeIndia."The IMPOSSIBLE is often UNTRIED" |
