Sanjeev writes "After changing a value for tempdb in Ram I tried to stop and restart the SQL Server. The SQLServer service does not start and the following error mesage is obtained:
RAM device doesn't exist, cannot be created, or doesn't have enough space for tempdb
Please help with resolution urgently. Would attempting to start SQL Server in minimal configuration using SQlSERVR -f option be the best way to solve this problem. And once I have done so, what should be the nxt best course of action to get SQL Server 6.5, service pack 5a back to its original config values. There is 4 GB Ram on available on the server. Windows version is NT 4.0 and service pack is 6a
Thanks Sanjeev" |
