i'm creating a windows application.i have this connection string...Data Source=(local);Initial Catalog=PEdb;Integrated Security=SSPI;but i got this error...An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server)i don't know what remote connection means. |

Firstly we need to know what edition of sql 2005 you are using? Is it Developer edition? Express edition which is installed along with VS 2005?Harsh AthalyeIndia."The IMPOSSIBLE is often UNTRIED" |
