In SQL2K EM you can right click a DB, and backup. Finally there is a option to schedule, which will create a job.

Is this option has been removed from SQL2K5?

I think so...
But you can script your backup and create a job manually...or create backup job trhough Maintenance Plan...

Hi Ravilobo,
Nope, not removed, just darned difficult to find.
Right click on database, Tasks, Backup...
Set up job as usual, then click on 'Script' at the top, and select Script to Job.
Then click on the Schedules page and set up your schedule as per SQL2000.
Obvious, eh? Took me an age to work that one out.
So much for Microsoft's usability 'experts'...
Enjoy ;)
Jim.

using this method you can schedule pretty much anything in SSMS, even ridiculous things like creating a database.
