| Hi guys,I just moved to SQL 2005 and am facing a difficulty trying to build a DTS Package using SSIS Projects. I need to migrate data from an old Database design to a new Database design in my local pc. Can anyone provide me some guidelines or tutorials on which components to use and a flow of the entire process which I should follow? I am confused.Thanks alot in advance, hope to hear from you guys soon. |

| It really depends on what you're trying to do. Is this a one-off migration? How different is the new design from the old design?The SSIS BOL tutorials are useful for getting started.
