Hi All,Here's my situation. My report server is on one box and the data server is on another. I can ping the data server from the report server, but when I try to make a connection to the database I get "Create a Grant Rights Script" error message. I've created the grant rights script and executed it on the data server. My username is added to the users for the ReportServer database. Any ideas as to what I am missing?ThanksThanks |

We also have the same problem. I opened a ticket with Microsoft on the issue, well really on another RS issue but I had them help me out with this too. Here is what to do at the RS databases rather than relying on config manager:Grant db_datareader, db_datawriter, and RSExecRole on both RS databases to your RS user. You should be able to move on to the next step in config manager now.Tara Kizerhttp://weblogs.sqlteam.com/tarad/ |
