Hi,

One of our db size is 700MB and I don't why the transaction log file is three times bigger which is 2200MB, Does the log file and it grow everyday by 5 percent (it is what setting now).

I think the actual data is in the MDF file not the LDF file, can I delete the LOG file and start again. or how to make it smaller? or any way to don't let it keep growing growing everyday?

Thanks!

If the db is not in simple recovery model, you have to backup log periodically to keep log file in reasonable size.
