| I inherited a computer from a co-worker who left. On it she installed SQL Server 2005. The help system is chock full of references to the various and sundry tutorials that come with the product, but I can't find so much as a syllable about how one actually accesses those tutorials. When I select Start, Programs, Microsoft SQL Server 2005, Documentation and Tutorials, Tutorials, SQL Server Tutorials, it simply launches one of the help screens. That screen, and the ones it contains links to, describe the tutorials topics in great detail, but nowhere is there any explanation of how you actually launch the tutorials. What am missing here? |

| If by tutorial, you expect something like interactive demos, then you are on wrong path. SQL Server 2005 Tutorials is just step-by-step instructions on how to do particular task in SQL 2005 and it is part of SQL 2005 help system. If you want interactive tutorials, then you can opt for AppDev's Exploring SQL Server 2005 tutorial or such other third party tutorials available out there:http://www.appdev.com/appdev/prodfamily.asp?catalog_name=AppDevCatalog&category_name=ESQ05Product&MSCSProfile=E643FF728F825C96AE54FD4E74A9047ABB716DDFFC890130C8DC301891573AE2386D57476B0231D146C2B3617176B07951EF9DB7D01169420775E8FA3656480515F1C332C9005B4658AFDB788A4AC2998E4380D468F6236C38667E15BD1F0E36283BA670353ACE4AA7C3CD35000A4C46BA41BAADFD699E633BEE113665FD744949A46E43D5A62283Harsh AthalyeIndia."The IMPOSSIBLE is often UNTRIED" |
