| Is there an possibility to assign confined system memory to mssql2005 ? Because some other programes needs system memory too. |

| I dont think so. I dont think there should be anything else on a production DB server. If there MUST be other programs and you are running short of memory, then perhaps you can bump it up by a few gigs. Memory is cheap these days.Dinakar Nethi************************Life is short. | Or set max memory in sql. By the way, most apps can't use memory above 2gb on the server. |
