I am an authenticated user of a remote data base

I can log in and add tables and even I can back up the database .

Good.

But I want to get a copy of the database to my local computer

Is there any way to do this?

Copy the backup file on the remote server to your local machine. Restore this backup file on your local server.

Then use the DTS Import/Export wizard to import the database objects on your local server.
