| Hi, I'm using the Express version of SS2k5 and I'm running into a weird problem. When using management studio express, under the securables section of a user or database role, for example, you're giving the ability to add or remove objects. For some reason, the Remove button is always greyed out so I'm unable to remove an object. I have sysadmin privileges so I don't see why this is so. Is it possible that this is a feature only in a standard or developer's edition? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |

I'm not talking about system objects. These are user objects like tables, stored procs, etc. |

| You can revoke permission from those objects and close the properties, that will remove those objects from securables. |

You mean I have to write a revoke statement for each possible permission on the object? Could you provide an example of how you would do this? |
