| 1. Is there a quick way to find out what port number SQL is listening to? I have 10 instances running on one server and I could find out by going to SQL log but it's bit time consuming.2. quick way to change the port number?thanks |

| Go to SQL Server Configuration Managerexpand sql server 2005 configuration manager click protocols Right click tcp/ip take properties change tab to IP address where u can see TCP dynamic portsRKNAIR |
