1. Is there a quick way to find out what port number SQL is listening to? I have 10 instances running on one server and I could find out by going to SQL log but it's bit time consuming.

2. quick way to change the port number?

Go to SQL Server Configuration Manager
expand sql server 2005 configuration manager
click protocols
Right click tcp/ip take properties change tab to IP address where u can see TCP dynamic ports
