Hi all,

Does anyone know how to do the search and replace in multiple stored procedures using SQL 2005 Management Studio?
Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks!

We store all our source code in files (and then into a version-control system), so a simple find & replace with a programmers editor is then all we need for this type of job.

See http://www.sqlteam.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=55210&SearchTerms=Version+Control

You can search them by querying sys.syscomments then modify one by one.

generate the script for the procedures with alter instead of create, search and replace and execute
