| Sometime ago, I had read a posting here about where in the system we can specify default owner of all objects in user database as being a DBO.The topic came about, because somebody found out that if an object referred to in a query, does not have a fully qualified name, then it takes some time for SQL server to figure out what the owner of the object is; this causes performance problems.e.g. select * from employees and select * from dbo.employees.If anybody knows what that setting is...I will really appreciate itRegardsParesh MotiwalaBoston, USA |
