You can install all editions except for Enterprise on XP Media center if you have SP2 installed. Future guru in the making. |

I believe I have enterprise edition of SQL Server 2000.This is what I noticed in README.txt file.SQL Server 2000 requires Internet Explorer 5.0 or later andis supported on these operating systems: * Windows 2000 * Microsoft Windows NT version 4.0 Service Pack 5 or later * Windows Millennium Edition * Windows 98 * Windows 95 (client connectivity option only) However, there's no mention of XP OS. So does that mean that it's not supported for WinXP? |

That's correct. You must have a server operating system to use enterprise edition.Use developer edition instead.Tara KizerMicrosoft MVP for Windows Server System - SQL Serverhttp://weblogs.sqlteam.com/tarad/ |
