| Hi,I tried restoring a sql2000 database into sql2005 but the import failed. Is it possible to do a import like this or do you have to do some kind of db conversion? |

| The import wizard is the worst way to move databases, especially from 2000 to 2005. Just use BACKUP/RESTORE or sp_detach_db/sp_attach_db instead.
