| I think I just finished the restore successfully in QA. I got the follwing results:Processed 66704 pages for database 'Priya', file 'Priya' on file 1.Processed 3 pages for database 'Priya', file 'Priya_log' on file 1.Backup or restore operation successfully processed 66707 pages in 261.259 seconds (2.091 MB/sec).This is my first time using QA to do a restore. When I go to use the db or look at it via Ent Mgr, it says the db is "loading". It's been in this state for over 15 minutes now. Is this normal, considering the size? How long should I expect it to be "loading".Thanks for your help guys.Drew |

| I did that many many many times. And rebooted. It turns out that this wasn't even a SQL Server issue. There was a VNC service running on the server that was consuming all the resources, so SQL never got to load the db. That explains why all my restores kept timing out.Sorry for the red herring all.Drew |
