Turk writes "The DBA at my last company said that a case sensative installation of SQL Server 7 was approximately 40% faster than a case insensative installation. I know that there are a lot of variables involved, but I can't find a good discussion on this subject. We are currently using a case insensative installation of SQL Server 7 on Windows NT 4 at my new company and when we upgrade to SQL Server 2000 I would like to go to a case sensative installation. In order to get present management to make this change, I need to have a better reason than 'because my last DBA said ...' Any insight you could provide would be appreciated. I'd also be interested in reading any articles you may know about."
