| Dear Gurus,I need to do the following in SQL Server 2005:1. Restrict access of user SA to my database2. Encrypt contents of the whole database. Is there anything available in SQL Server 2005 (server or DB settings) which encrypt the contents. I do not want to explicitly encrypt individual columns !! Thanks in advanceAnjum |

why would you want to restrict the user of 'sa'? no one should have that password anyway. Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part. |

| Even you disable sql authentication, there are still member of sysadmin. You can't stop them in sql2k5. |
