| Hi all,i 'm looking to migrate sql server 2000 database to sql server 2005. Can i do it by detaching database in 2000 and attaching database in 2005. or can i do it using DTS package? Which is the best way to go for it? can anyone suggest me on this plz? |

| Backup/Restore will be best option. If you do detach/attach method,by some mean if you can't attach to SQL 2005. You won't be able to attach back to SQL 2000. |
